At the moment I’m playing with the trial version of Twinmotion 2016 and I really enjoy it.
And with the new unreal engine coming this summer I’m asking myself if Twinmotion 2018 will rival Artlantis on still images.
My question is, will Artlantis become obsolete with better versions of Twinmotion?
Artlantis still have features that I prefer for perspective rendering like site insertion and 2D view to mention a couple.
Are there any plans for GPU rendering in Artlantis?
Currently Artlantis can export to twinmotion, would it be an idea if Twinmotion could export to Artlantis?
Shared library between Artlantis and Twinmotion if possible?
What will Artlantis offer in the future to « compete » with Twinmotion? (Or am I simply misunderstanding the purpose between the two?)
Did you fall from the moon? Twin and Artlantis are made by one developer. Twin is built on a game engine, and artlantis on the engine of software visualization. They are not competitors, and do not replace each other.
It appears to me that Twinmotion is intended more for large context models and Artlantis more for rendering a building with minimal context involved. As noted, they are complimentary. But I think it is a fair question to ask how each might develop in the future relative to each other
Given how lame the current version is, I would say that the role that they will be playing will be marginalized. I would advise against investing in this software…
Because convenience / speed / quality has not been applied to this program for a long time. Especially considering that new versions do not justify hopes, and updates do not improve the situation.
