In the program Artlantis 2019, a problem arises in translucent materials with the option turned on - ambient occluson. After visualization, all the details behind the translucent glass (for example, at the cabinet) are darkened. The result is not a translucent glass, but the dirty contours of what is behind the glass. I think that it would be more correct if the ambient occlution does not affect everything that is behind the translucent glazing.
Please fix it!
Thanks you.
I’m not sure to understand your problem.
You would have less grain in the translucent glass if you were not using the « Enhanced background », if you do not want the AO, why don’t you just turn it off…
Hello!
I described an error in the Artlantis 2019 program that when the ambient occluson is turned on (with an increase in its intensity) there will be problems in translucent and transparent structures (glass of sandblasted cabinets, street visors made of polycarbonate, curtains in interiors, glass of shower cabins with light scattering and more).
You can certainly not notice this, but the possibilities of the program are noticeably narrowed …
P.S. Ambient occluson is needed to highlight details on other 3D objects in the scene. Therefore, if I turn it off completely, then the bas-relief will be lost. And if I turn on and slightly increase the intensity - then all the translucent materials in the scene then become completely dirty and transparent.
