Render Manager Problem

When I use Render Manager in order to use several desktop machine clients throug Local Network, these clientes are recognized by the host at the begining


but after a short period of time, when the render starts, they all disappear from the Client list

I’ve already tried several approaches, like using only 2 machines or tried culling every client at a time to see if some particular clients were the source of the problem. Regardless, it always fails the same way. I’ve also tried alternating the machines wich do the hosting, but the problem remains.

I forgot to say that this file has 2.5Gb… can it be the reason?
Because I’ve tried with other files wich have 1.9Gb and they work fine…

That might indeed be the reason, could you attach the client logs, we might find some info on what went wrong.
you need to attach the logs created after the clients disappear.

Yes that was the correct log file.
It seems the rendering from JI_Seixal_180228A.atla went ok, but the client got an error while loading AJC_Azenhas do Mar_PB_180209A.atla
Is AJC_Azenhas do Mar_PB_180209A.atla a lot bigger (number of triangles, bigger texture map, bigger HDRI ) than JI_Seixal_180228A.atla ?

Unfortunately there is no specific error message… only Exception

At the top of the log there is - Free available Memory : 18544 Mo
Are you running something else on the same machine while trying to render with this client ?

Hi Mário Afonso, maybe some nodes are out of memory. If you wish you can try our service (Artlantis Render Farm).

Our nodes have 64 or 128GB of RAM so we’re able to render very complex scenes with no trouble at all.
