problem batch render

Hey,

Occasionally it occurs when I render a project with batch render that the image is not correct. As you can see in the attached file, the image is in blocks.
If I render this same image in the artlantis file, I do not have this problem.

Very strange, and annoying.

Can this be solved?

Thank you.

Hello,
The problem is with the Batch Render or the Render Manager ?

Hello,

The problem is with the render manager. I’m worken with Artlantis studio 6.5

Do you have Render Clients on Mac and Windows ?
How many Render Clients do you have running ?
Did you modify and save the atla while you were rendering in Render Manager ?

Yes, 2 Render Clients on Mac. My iMac workstation en my Macbook pro.
I d’not modify or saved the atla fila while it was rendering.

It is a file with 8 views. The 4 first do not give a problem. But the other 4 do. They all have the same settings.

And your Render Manager is also on a Mac ?
Is it on the same Mac as one of the clients ?
Could you attach the logs of both clients and the Render Manager to this post.
To open the Render Manager log folder, use the « Information…/Show log files » menu item
To open the Client log folder, use the « Logs » menu item:
client-show-logs.png

Could you send us your zipped atla, we might find what is wrong with the bad views…
If it is big, you can use WeTransfer and send it to me sarrut@abvent.fr

Best regards,

Hallo,

I just send you the requested files with wetransfer.

It concerns the masterbedroom project.

There are 10 views in the project.
view 0, 1, 2, 3 and 9 do not pose a problem.
View 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 are a problem
(just by chance the views of the bathroom)

I also experienced this in a previous project. Then I always have to render a view per view in Artlantis.

Thanks in advance.

Hello !

I think I understand where the problem might come from, on your iMac you have installed Client version 6.5.2.14, but on your MacBook Pro you have installed Client version 6.5.2.12.
Could you quit the Render Manager and both clients.
Install Client Version 6.5.2.14 on your MacBook Pro
Restart both clients and Render Manager and render one of the images that had the bug, and let me know !

Best regards,

Hello again,

I confirm that the problem comes from the fact that you have a client 6.5.2.14 and a client 6.5.2.12.

I have checked the code, we have fixed a bug in 6.5.2.14:

In 6.5.2.12, all lights were always considered to be turned on , if they were in an active light group.
it is not the case anymore in 6.5.2.14, we check if they are on or off !

in view_4 you have the light group « spots_1 » active but Light_22 is turned off, the preview looks like this:

If I turn Light_22 on, the preview looks like this:

If you compare both preview to the image you attached earlier, you will see that some square display the view with Light_22 turned on and the others with Light_22 turned off.

In view 0, 1, 2, 3 and 9 , the lights of light group « spots_1 » are in another room behind a wall, this is why they have no effect and the image calculated by the client 65212 and 65214 have the same lighting.

Cheers !
