We are currently selling Artlantis 2021. Artlantis 6.5 is no longer supported but should work depending on the platform and OS version.
Is it your first Artlantis Installation ?
Did you install Artlantis Media ?
The Media installer is provided with the Applications installer.
On which platform are you working macOS or Windows ?
Which OS version ?
Did you try to open an Artlantis file or import a SketchUp, ArchiCAD or which ever modeler file you are working with ?

To be honest I took my computer and archicad installed and I am having licensing issues too.
I am using macOS.
My mac version is 10.13.6
When I open it, it only allows me to open AutoCAD files and when I opened one it didn’t even show

Which version of Archicad do you use ?
Do you have a licence for Artlantis 6.5 ?
Did you try installing Artlantis 2021 Demo to check that it is working on your machine ?
You should contact Abvent Support, they should be able to help you, although we do not support Artlantis 6.5 any longer… You might think of upgrading to Artlantis 2021.
