A bit more info about how to install this as an upgrade, please? Will it automatically recognise that a previous version is present? Is it necessary to install the new plug-ins (VW import to ATL) or will that for v6 still work? Will all downloaded Catalog items all work without further action required?

The version 6.5 will create a new application folder, no need to reinstall the catalog? it will work with the previous one.
Concerning the VW plugin, yes you need to install the new one available

what about those of us with a network keyserver?

  • does it need to be reinstalled
  • do we need to get a new serial number?
  • can 6 and 6.5 run at the same time or does everything have to get changed over as soon as you install?

it would help if you issued an upgrade guide for your faithful users

What do we do with the old installation of 6.0 on mac? Can we remove the application without corrupting the new 6.5?

Okay - I’ve installed it, and replaced the v6 Vectorworks plug-in with the 6.5 one. All seems to be working fine (existing set-up and catalog seamlessly transferred), although having had issues in the past with « early » versions of Artlantis my heart was rather in my mouth throughout.

As someone else has pointed out, a simple « upgrade from the previous version » guide wouldn’t be too much to ask for…

Hi there! Some suggestion for the next Update:

It would be great, if the postcards-location-preferences could be managed in the preference section or in the client in a better way. The folder-adding in the postcard-client is really really annoying imho (due to the selector, which is really really basic!), if you sort them afterwards and you have to add it and its located deeper in your file-managment. No path-memorizing!?! Speaking of the LEFT column with the folders view where you can (de)acticvate it, not the single postcards view.[b]

Also a higher resolution and bigger preview of the postcards would be very very much appreciated!

Cheers!
